IT and Security needs Renaissance Men
As the information security discipline continues to age, the propagation of boilerplate, by-the-book CISOs is growing. Fewer and fewer security leaders have grown up through traditional IT channels where they have built skills across all disciplines of IT. In addition, very few excel in other non-business activities but rather coast with mediocre real-life skills.
